Historical Background
Peaceful Cove Cemetery was established in 1951 by the Pelly Doukhobor Society for its members. It is in active use and is owned and maintained by the Society. The cemetery is in very good condition.
Layout
The cemetery is two acres in size and is enclosed by a wire fence. There is a single iron gate on the south side. The cemetery contains 94 interments in a single section comprised of 6 rows facing east-west. The markers are typically plain slate or marble upright headstones or flat markers set flush to the ground. Click here for an online cemetery map.
Driving Directions
To access the cemetery, travel east from Pelly on Highway No. 49 for 2 1/4 miles (3.6 km). The cemetery is on the north side of the road allowance. This cemetery is open to the public.
